A CULCHETH site which has 'suffered with a serious case of fly-tipping' has been cleared up.
Culcheth and Glazebury parish councillor Sue Bland has welcomed the start of a clean-up process at the old garden centre, on Church Lane.
She said: "This site had suffered with a serious case of fly-tipping recently.
"Residents contacted our 'Conservative Look of our Villages' team concerned at the state of the site.
"I contacted the owners and Warrington Borough Council to try and resolve this matter and I'm glad to say that action has been taken with a clearance of the site and fencing installed around it.
"I hope this is the end of the matter and the site can now be developed in a way more favourable to the residents."
