AN accountant is celebrating after picking up the crown for Miss Cheshire.
Jenny Jackson, from Latchford, was delighted to be awarded the title last month and is now preparing to compete in Miss England in July.
The 21-year-old, who works for Grant Thornton, is set to continue her charity work.
She said: "I'm completely overwhelmed to have won Miss Cheshire and the experience of competing in the final for Miss England will be one I'll never forget.
"Regardless of the outcome, it's a complete honour to be representing Cheshire, the county that I truly love, and as a crowned ambassador I've already achieved far more than I expected.
"I look forward to continuing to make a positive difference to the community and incredible charities that change the lives of so many."
