IT was a crowning moment for Isabella Smithson when she stepped up to the role of rose queen at the annual summer gala in Winwick.
The youngster was joined by her retinue Millie Anslow and Keira Smithson on June 17 at the fair organised by St Oswald’s Church and the PTFA at Winwick CE Primary School.
More than £3,000 was raised with the money to be split between the church and school.
The rose queen is now looking forward to her first duty at the reopening of St Oswald’s Church.
