THE winner of the 2016 Miss Warrington Guardian is in the running for a national title at the weekend.
Rachel Berwick, aged 25, will hope to beat the competition at the Miss British Isles contest.
The former St Andrew's Primary School pupil, mum to Charlie, says charity and voluntary work is close to her heart and she aims to make Warrington proud again.
The contest takes place at the Crowne Plaza in Chester.
She added: "It all started when I entered Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian. I won, which I am so very proud of."
The 2017 Mr and Miss Warrington Guardian will be launched in August.
