I WOULD like to thank the strangers who came to my young teenage son’s aid on Holes Lane in Woolston on Friday, June 9.
Due to the front wheel coming off his bike, he received severe damage to his face and mouth and was extremely shaken up.
There was one gentleman in particular who contacted the school my son attends, who then alerted me to the incident whom my son and I wish we could thank personally.
Also the pharmacy staff near where the incident took place who came to his aid, as well as anyone else who was at the scene and kept my son calm and looked after him while waiting for an ambulance.
I also have huge praise for the police who contacted me and gave me regular updates while I made my long journey home, as well as the excellent treatment he received from the ambulance service and staff at Warrington A&E.
All your combined efforts made it a much less stressful situation for both me and my son.
So thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
