Lots of readers put their walking shoes on rather than getting in the car as the sun shone on last week's #WalkitWednesday including Rachel King's family (pictured in the gallery above) heading to Oughtrington Community Primary School in Lymm.

And this week we are expecting more of the same with temperatures hitting 18 degrees before 9am this morning, Wednesday.

Our campaign began in the Spring as we call on more readers to leave their car at home and walk to work or school instead this summer.
