PETA Hiku says he has heard “nothing but good things” about Warrington Wolves after his arrival at the club was confirmed.
The 24-year-old utility back, who can play anywhere across the back line as well as in the halves, arrives from Penrith Panthers on a deal until 2019.
Hiku, an eight-cap New Zealand international, will arrive in Warrington once his visa application has been accepted and he says he cannot wait to get started.
“I’m very grateful for this opportunity and excited to come and join a great club. Everyone has been very welcoming,” he said.
“I’ve heard nothing but good things about the club and the team.
“I just can’t wait to get over there and play some footy.”
Hiku has previous experience of playing on these shores after he was part of the touring Kiwi side that played a three-match series against England in 2015.
His NRL career started with Manly Sea Eagles before he joined the Panthers in 2016
