EXTRA security will be deployed in Cheshire and Warrington after the terror threat in the country was raised to the highest level of 'critical'.
But the army will not be on the streets of the county and there is no intelligence over a specific threat in Cheshire.
Armed police will be in evidence at train stations in the town from today, Wednesday, and they are also likely to be in other public places in the coming days to provide reassurance.
