A MAN accused of hiding in a hotel to avoid detection following a police chase has appeared in court.
Adam Blowes, from Liverpool, was charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance and possession with intent to supply class B drugs after he was arrested on Saturday.
Many residents reported how they heard sirens as the vehicle hurtled through the town and along the M6.
The pursuit involved three forces as police cars and a helicopter tracked the suspect vehicle.
Officers later made attempts to stop the vehicle at 9.40pm on the M56 near to junction 10.
The driver dumped the vehicle but, after a search of the area, officers located a man inside a hotel on Stretton Road and he was subsequently arrested.
Blowes, 28, appeared before Warrington Magistrates' Court on Monday.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Chester Crown Court on June 19.
