I REFER to the new theatre cinema and library facility called the Storyhouse that has been developed in the old Odeon in Chester city centre.
When I was young I visited the Odeon on many a Saturday morning to watch the kids matinee.
How nice it is to see that since its closure more than 10 years ago the local council did not decide to demolish it or convert it into apartments Instead they retained the original building and extended onto it to incorporate a new theatre library and faculties for children What a pity we haven’t got a council that possesses the same vision and inspiration as Chester.
