POPULAR children’s author Simon Adepetun has been encouraging boys to get interested in reading and writing their own fiction at Great Sankey High School.
He spoke to year eight pupils about how to create an exciting plot and added: “Some people get discouraged and think they’re not good enough but the key is to believe in yourself and what you have written. Never give up.’’
The students were proud of the short stories they had penned and delighted with Simon’s enthusiasm.
