STAFF at Gulliver's World are gearing up for a bank holiday weekend of pirate and princess-themed fun.

Taking place from tomorrow, Saturday, to Monday, the event includes new pantomime ‘The Princess and Pirate: Quest for Treasure'.

Dean Kimberley, director of guest services at Gulliver's family theme parks, said: "We are really excited about our first Princess and Pirate weekend.

"We have so many wonderful activities for families to enjoy - we are particularly looking forward to our new pantomime ‘The Princess and Pirate: Quest for Treasure' which will include some fantastic bits of magic and comes with a meal and a sweet treat."

During the weekend Percy Pirate will be on stage singing sea shanties while Princess Gilly will also be making special appearances throughout the day.

Families are encouraged to dress in their finest princess or pirate costume for the Princess and Pirate Parade and head to The End of the Rainbow for the chance to win prizes.
