RUGBY star Scott Moore faces four further charges following a police pursuit.
The Bradford Bulls hooker appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
The 29-year-old, of Ranworth Drive, Lowton, is now accused of two assault offences, dangerous driving and possession of a weapon for the discharged of an electrical incapacitation device.
He had previously been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision and driving without insurance.
Moore will appear at Bolton Crown Court on Wednesday, May 24, in connection with all the alleged offences.
Greater Manchester Police say officers spotted a Mercedes sports car driving at speed on the East Lancashire Road in Wigan shortly after 3.55am on Friday, October 14.
A pursuit took place which came to an end on Arrow Street, Leigh.
A police spokesman added there was then a significant struggle with officers.
Moore is a former St Helens, Castleford, Huddersfield, Widnes and London Broncos player who was on the books at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the time of his arrest.
He became a free agent in January when he left the club by mutual consent and recently signed for Bradford.
