As a resident of Richmond Avenue in Grappenhall, I have just witnessed the most outrageous use of council taxpayers’ money by this council that I have seen for a long time.
Richmond Avenue, which is a 20mph no through road used only by residents and visitors, has been resurfaced – but only half of it.
This is a road with no holes in it that I am aware of whereas you can drive around this borough and find numerous roads full of potholes.
Stockton Heath is a prime example.
Councillors should be ashamed at the waste of money.
It seems the world has gone mad.
