Fifteen caravans leave Warrington Wolves car park
FIFTEEN caravans and associated vehicles have left Warrington Wolves’ car park.
The group arrived on the piece of land outside The Halliwell Jones Stadium, on Dallam Lane, on Sunday night.
On Monday a council spokesman said the authority was 'liaising' with Tesco, which owns the site, to 'ascertain the intentions' of the group.
The authority later visited the encampment and confirmed Tesco was 'in discussions with its legal team to take the next steps forward to evict the group'.
The encampment has now vacated the site.
