STAND Up star Jason Manford has confirmed a second date in the town following huge demand for the first.

Tickets to see the funnyman and TV and radio presenter sold fast last week so another performance has been booked in for Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Parr Hall.

The original show will take place on April 11, 2018.

Muddle Class will feature a wealth of new material about the comedian growing up 'working class' then finding over the years that part of him has become 'middle class'.

Jason said: “Somebody said to me on my Facebook fan page, ‘it's been ages since you've toured'. I thought, 'no way, it was last year wasn't it?’

“Anyway, long story short, they were right: it was years ago! I just got fooled because I've been on tour doing musicals and the last tour is repeated on Dave Ja Vu 13 times a day!

“So I’ve been putting some stuff together, looking at my life and how it's changed over the years, how the world has changed and how my parents haven't changed a bit!

“It's going to be a great tour and I can't wait to see you there.”

Jason has become one of Britain’s top comedians thanks to appearances on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, ITV1’s The Nightly Show, The Royal Variety Performance and Sunday Night at the Palladium, BBC One’s Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You, and BBC Two’s QI.

Tickets for the second date go on sale on Friday at 10am and tickets to the original performance on Wednesday 11 April 2018 are on sale now.
