AN apprenticeship scheme in Birchwood has been recognised for the support it has provided to the next generation of telecoms workers.
Ryan Sharkey, corporate operations advisor for TalkTalk Business, picked up an Intraining Apprenticeship Learner Award while the team won Apprenticeship Employer Award at the company’s hub in Birchwood.
Jackie Bailey, customer service manager for TalkTalk Business, said: “Our learners have embraced the opportunity to benefit from the courses which will all result in a nationally recognised qualification.
“We encourage our people to develop at TalkTalk Business, and the fantastic uptake, commitment and engagement from the course are entirely consistent with our culture.”
