One lucky young Wire fan wins the experience of a lifetime - to walk out as mascot with Warrington Wolves at St James’ Park, Newcastle, during the 2017 Dacia Magic Weekend.

The winner will not only walk out with the players for their derby clash with Wigan Warriors at Newcastle United’s home ground on Saturday, May 20, he or she will also receive four weekend reserved tickets.

This means being able to watch all six Super League games taking place at the one venue over two days.

The winner will be provided with a t-shirt to wear for mascot duties but will need to take their own shorts, socks and boots.

To be in the running, readers were asked to send a picture of their child supporting The Wire - like the ones in our gallery above.

We also needed a contact telephone number, home address and the child’s date of birth.

All entrants meeting the criteria feature in our photo gallery and the winner was chosen by random draw.

Usual Newsquest rules apply.

Tickets for the Dacia Magic Weekend are available from £25 and can be purchased by visiting rugby-league.com/tickets or by calling the Rugby League Ticket hotline on 0844 856 1113 (calls cost 7p plus your network connection).
