STARS of the Real Housewives of Cheshire descended on Lymm Riding School to film scenes for the fifth series of the ITVBe show.

Now fans can tune into the reality TV programme at 10pm today, Monday, to watch how the filming unfolded at the school off Spring Lane.

This is not the first time that famous faces have visited the riding school, which has been in operation at its current site for 21 years.

Actress Sue Johnston and Coronation Street favourites are among those who have paid a visit to Lymm Riding School.

So Rebecca Bennett, owner, was more than happy to open up the centre to the cast and crew which included Leanne Brown, Tanya Bardsley and Ester Dohnalova.

She said: "We had the phone call on the Friday and then filming started on the Monday.

"I have always said the Real Housewives of Cheshire would be the next people to visit.

"At first I thought it was a hoax.

"Everyone was running around the yard, bouncing around and getting excited."

Ben Summerfield, assistant manager, was one of the staff members to show the three friends the reins.

The latest addition to the cast Ester was in charge of grey jumper Mercedes while Tanya, wife of Stoke City footballer Phil Bardsley, was filmed on black and white piebald Toby.

Leanne, wife of Blackburn Rovers player Wes Brown, was pictured on brown and white skewbald May.

Rebecca added: "It was lovely to be a part of it as everyone from the riding school was past and present clients and staff.

"Many love the show and loved being a part of it."

There were also no diva demands behind the scenes with the three cast members sitting down between filming with the staff to enjoy a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit.

“Ester was exactly how she appears on the TV,” said Rebecca.

“She turned up early and she was really nice.

“They were all really down to Earth.”

Tune into ITVBe tonight at 10pm.
