She does not expect a penny off anybody and will support anybody who is struggling because she understands. She's crazy, funny, loud and very beautiful. She's had a rough few years and works 6/7 days a week in a care home just to provide for us! I have recently found out I'm pregnant but Marie has guided me and gave me a whole new outlook on life. Our bond is unseparable and no one will ever split us up. She deserves numerous medals and presents but my love for her is stronger than anything."

11. Megan Goulden, Woolston
"My mum is always there for me and my family even though we live all the way in Brisbane, Australia. She's one in a million."

12. Marjorie Massey

"My mum is always there for me, to listen and advise.. shes had a tough year for many reasons but she keeps solidering on. She is a fantastic grandma to my two girls, they are always on her mind, whether shes browsing in the charity shop or sends me a text to ask how they are; the only place my toddler isnt clingy is when she goes to grandmas! I think that speaks volumes... sending lots of love this mothers (and grandmothers) day xxxx"
