A STOCKTON Heath ice cream parlour has ended its 'adventure' after closing 'due to a number of family-related issues'.

Pure Indulgence, on London Road, closed its doors on Saturday, March 18.

Owner Helen Harvey and the team announced the decision in a Facebook post earlier this month.

It said: "It has been a difficult decision but with regret we have to announce that Pure Indulgence will be closing its doors on March 18.

"This is due to a number of family-related issues.

"We would like to thank all our regular customers, friends and those who have supported us through our adventure.

"We have really appreciated your encouragement and support.

"Look out for us at Stockton Heath Festival and other outdoor events as we are hoping to go mobile in the future.

"Also, if you have any unused vouchers these can be redeemed there too."

The store, which opened in October 2014, scooped the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence last year.
