BLUEPRINTS to convert a building on Holly Bank Caravan Park in Rixton into a bedsit for letting have been approved.
The building, which had been formerly used as a private gym by the applicant, had previously been transformed into bedsit accommodation for the family to use.
But now the applicant plans to reduce the number of bedrooms by providing facilities including a shared bathroom and kitchen at the caravan park off Manchester Road and Warburton Bridge Road.
The application was given the green light by councillors during a development management committee meeting at the Town Hall last week.
