You are not alone – that is the vital message which campaigner Adrian Derbyshire hopes to instil in young people across the country to make sure his daughter’s legacy lives on.

The Julia Derbyshire Campaign #SASSY (support against self harm and suicide in youth) aims to raise awareness of the guidance and support available to those suffering though bullying and hate.

The initiative was launched as part of the The Adrian Derbyshire Foundation.

Adrian, a former Team GB athlete, started his #InspireBelieveSucceed campaign to help children to be the best that they can be.

He challenges children and young adults to be positive role models and to be accountable for their actions.

He said: “We have successfully spoken to more than 200,000 children and young adults in schools and in the community.

“But we need vital funds to continue our work to save lives.

“£150,000 will give us the opportunity to continue our work for less than £1 a child.

“It’s not just about inspiring people it’s about saving lives.”
