OFSTED inspectors have praised staff at Appleton Thorn Pre-School for ensuring youngsters are acquiring the key ‘skills, knowledge and attitudes to learning’.
The pre-school, which is based at Appleton Thorn Village Hall, on Stretton Road, has earned a ‘good’ rating following the inspection on January 25.
In the report, Ofsted said ‘children are making good progress in their learning’.
It added: “They are acquiring the skills, knowledge and attitudes to learning that prepare them well for starting school.
“This includes children who benefit from additional funding and those who have special educational needs or disabilities.
“Children are confident, happy and they behave very well.”
The pre-school, which was registered with inspectors in 2015, employs four members of childcare staff.
