SCHOOLBOY Louis Groarke is hoping to inspire youngsters all over the town to get involved with politics as he launches a campaign to be elected as a member of youth parliament.
The 13-year-old, who has ADHD and autism, said he hopes children can have a say on issues important to them like bullying, school funding and mental health support. He also called for greater inclusion for people with disabilities.
He added: “The youth parliament is how we can change things. People should vote for me because I really want to make a difference. I want other young people to know that their opinions and views matter.”
The football fan said: “There should also be more areas for young people to socialise in the town. And I want there to be more inclusion for people with different abilities."
Louis also helped produce the manifesto for Impact Warrington Youth Council along with other members of the group.
Youngsters aged 11 to 18 can vote at school or visit goo.gl/kIBFXV for more information.
