CHARITY begins at home for a kind-hearted father and daughter duo who have found a creative way to support the community.
David Ramsbottom, from Penketh company EDR Landscapes, is inviting charities and other organisations to get in touch for a bit of help in the garden.
David said his daughter, eight-year-old Ellie-Rose, came up with the idea to reinvest around 10 per cent of profits into work for community projects.
He said: “We get pretty busy from March onwards. Ellie-Rose said we should try and help people once the gardens all start blooming in spring. We are only a small business but she thought if we could help improve open spaces in our town by planting a tree or offer a few hours labour to charities it would be a great way to give back.”
