CAKES were in plentiful supply at Birchwood Community High School to help pupils to fund a media studies trip to New York.
Teenagers from year 10 and 11 along with students in year 12 at Birchwood College are hoping to fly to America as part of their GCSE and A-level work.
During the visit, the group will have the opportunity to visit a number of film and television studios as well as taking part in workshops.
To keep costs to a minimum there will be a number of fundraisers held throughout the year including the cake sale which raised more than £120.
