A MUM-of-six has spoken of her anger after her Facebook account was deleted because she advertised free nipple reconstruction treatments for breast cancer sufferers.

Sharron Price, who runs the Jeune Room on Cairo Street, had offered 10 women who have had mastectomies the chance to restore their confidence with free areola reconstructions, which are worth £500 each.

But when she posted examples of her treatments, which involve tattooing a nipple back onto the women’s breasts, Sharron’s Facebook account was permanently deleted without warning as the social media giant claimed she had posted sexually explicit content.

The former Culcheth High School student said: “It’s shocking what they’ve done – there was no need for it all because they were not sexually explicit pictures.

“I’ve lost all my family pictures and 4,000 contacts and I can’t get them back.

“They’re allowing all sorts of stuff on Facebook but not areola restorations or enhancements for cancer sufferers.

“It’s taken me hours and hours to try and reinstate my account and business has slowed down because people can’t find me on Facebook.

“I’m offering 10 woman free breast restorations and now they’ve stopped it – I can’t do this now because they’ve closed my account.”

Facebook has since reinstated Sharron’s account after the Orford resident made multiple appeal attempts.

A spokesman for the company said that it did not comment on individual cases but that the page had been taken down in error and ‘acted quickly’ to rectify it.
