Early season special tickets are available for the discounted price of £12.95, both online and on the gate, next week.

Dean Kimberley, Gulliver's director of guest services, said: "Five rides within our Adventure Land area will be closed over half term as our construction teams work hard to get our brand new Safari Kingdom ready to open this spring. The highlights include Togo Tower, our thrilling new water boats slide.

"But there's still plenty for families to enjoy together this half term, from traditional rollercoasters and theme park favourite rides, to our range of attractions aimed at younger children."

The park will be open between 10.30am and 4pm from Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 February.

Laser Tag is essentially hide-and-seek with laser weapons and a sensor vest.

There are mission options and play styles that all add to the experience.

The attraction is mainly aimed at children aged 9 and above.

The opening times are 4.30pm to 7pm Tuesday to Friday, Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 11am to 5pm.

Prices start at £4.50 per person.

The venue is open Monday to Thursday 10am to 9pm and 9am to 9pm Friday to Sunday.

Fairy Forest School will be taking over woodlands in Warrington as part of a series of half-term activities including Lumb Brook Valley, Appleton, on Monday, February 20, and Gorse Covert Mounds, Birchwood, on Wednesday, February 22.

A creative fun-filled day of crafts, drama and puppetry for ages 6+ during February Half Term.

On Wednesday February 22, young people will be able to discover different art forms, with mask making, paper puppets and drama while gaining an arts award, which is a national recognised qualification.

Funded by Warrington Borough Council the day will start at 10am till 4pm and is free.
