FIREFIGHTERS stepped up their training in an attempt to climb the height of 10 world-famous landmarks, whilst wearing full fire kit, in one afternoon.
The on-call crew from Stockton Heath were aiming to raise as much money as possible for The Fire Fighters Charity and Kenzie’s Toy Appeal by climbing the height of Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, Mount Everest and other monuments on a step machine in Golden Square.
Ten-year-old Kenzie Appleton, who has spent six years in and out of Alder Hey Hospital after being diagnosed with Perthes disease, cheered the firefighters on. For more visit justgiving.com/crowdfunding/stocktonheath-oncall-firestation.
