SINGERS in St Vincent’s Primary School choir have been practising for their first appearance on stage at the Echo Arena.

The youngsters are taking part in the Peace Proms tomorrow, Saturday, to celebrate unity and tolerance through music.

Almost 3,000 children will sing alongside a symphony orchestra and acclaimed solo performers.

The choir have been working hard on their harmonies and are excited about the opportunity to perform at the iconic arena in front of an audience of thousands.

Paula Williams, choir leader, said: "The children have worked really hard to learn all the songs and the actions and they cannot wait to take part in this concert.

"It is an amazing opportunity for our children to perform at such a special event, one which they are sure to remember for years to come."
