CASHLESS parking is now available at the council's car parks.
It means drivers can pay using a mobile phone and debit or credit card if they don't have cash.
The system, provided by RingGo, is being used at car parks in Lymm (Henry Street, Pepper Street and Davies Way), Stockton Heath (Forge) and the Town Hall.
The system means drivers don't have to visit a parking machine and they won't need a parking ticket, wardens can check which vehicles are parked with RingGo via their handheld units.
Council bosses brought in new charges in December which means free parking was cut to 15 minutes. The decision has brought complaints from councillors and residents in the south of the town.
