AT just 17 years of age, an entrepreneurial Priestley College student did not let her youth hold her back when she was invited to speak on a panel at the old Granada Studios about business.
Lydia Jones has already launched a successful app and sitting alongside gin distillers, tech experts and tailors she had plenty of advice for the audience of elite businessmen and women.
“I didn’t know I was going to be on the panel until I got there, but I wasn’t intimidated,” said Lydia, from Cronton.
“We were asked about the emotional side of getting a company off the ground and our goals before starting a business.”
The computer sciences student launched her FitFlash app in 2016 and attracted users from around the world.
She was asked to join the ‘I Am Entrepreneur’ panel after securing business support and is now working on an exciting new app.
