STARS of I'm A Celebrity have sent their get well soon messages to seven-year-old Jenson Wright.

After Scarlett Moffatt was crowned the winner in last night's finale, the celebrities gathered at a hotel where they shared their well wishes for the Penketh South Primary pupil.

Stars Sam Quek, Wayne Bridge, Danny Baker, Lisa Snowdon, Joe Swash, Jordan Banjo, Adam Thomas, Joel Dommett and Stockton Heath's own Martin Roberts posed for photos for Jenson.

Previous winner Vicky Pattison and hosts Ant and Dec also shared their well wishes.

Jenson, who has been battling cancer since he was just four years old, is currently awaiting a stem cell transplant.

His mum Carolyn said the messages from Australia were a wonderful surprise.

"We have a friend in Australia who went to the hotel where the celebrities were based," she said.

"We have had lovely messages from Larry Lamb and Honey G too.

"Jenson loves I'm a Celebrity. He asked me, 'Am I a celebrity?' I said, of course but he said 'I'm not going to that camp!'

"His dad showed him the photos in hospital. The Ant and Dec one was the icing on the cake because he loves them."

Jenson will be in hospital for all of Christmas and New Year and Carolyn has been inviting people to send him messages and photos on social media to cheer him up.

"It means a lot to us, he will go into isolation for around 10 days  and he can't have any Christmas visitors," she added.

"It has meant a lot to know so many people are rooting for him and sending their best wishes and prayers.

"We are hoping and praying for him to get well soon."
