FOLLY Lane Medical Centre has been rated as good by the healthcare watchdog after an inspection.

The Bewsey GP surgery was inspected by the Care Quality Commission in August and a subsequent report has given a positive impression of the practice, which has more than 10,000 registered patients.

Inspectors praised the staff and facilities at the medical centre, which also rated highly in the national GP patient survey.

The CQC’s report said: “Feedback from patients about the care and treatment they received from clinicians was very positive.

“Patients told us they were treated with dignity and respect and they were involved in decisions about their care and treatment.

“Staff we spoke with told us they had the skills, knowledge and experience to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.

“The practice had good facilities, including disabled access – it was well-equipped to treat patients and meet their needs.”
