AN ORFORD primary school has bounced back with a rating of good from Ofsted.
St Andrew’s Church of England Primary School has received a positive review from the education regulator, having been ordered to improve after its previous inspection in 2014.
Visited by inspectors in September, the school’s staff, governors and pupil were all praised by Ofsted.
A report published following the inspection said: “Leaders, staff and governors are fully united in their very strong vision that every child deserves the best teaching and learning.
“They have successfully raised the quality of teaching, learning and outcomes.
“Pupils are proud of their school – their friendly, respectful and welcoming attitudes towards each other and adults reflects the care and respect shown to them by all staff.
“Good behaviour was seen in class and around the school, and pupils mature into polite, responsible individuals.
