REMEMBER a lost loved pet or honour an existing pet this Christmas with the Warrington Animal Welfare's memorial Christmas tree.
Located at the animal charity's rescue centre on Slutchers Lane, it is hoped the tree, which has been donated by Grappenhall Christmas Tree Farm, will be covered in gold hearts in time for Christmas.
The tree decorations, available to buy at the centre for £2, can also include your pet's name.
Anybody unable to make it to the centre can make a donation online to dedicate a heart decoration to their pet.
Visit justgiving.com/warringtonanimalwelfare and add a comment that the donation is for a memorial heart with your pet's name.
All proceeds will go towards animals in the charity's care.
