'TIS the season to be jolly and that is certainly the case in the Warrington area with many community groups already getting festive.
Here are some of the events spreading cheer in the area between now and Christmas.

MEET SANTA AT GOLDEN SQUARE
Youngsters can join Santa on his sleigh to tell him what they’d like for Christmas. The man in red will be at the shopping centre between 11am and 4pm on December 3, 10, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24.
CHRISTMAS FLORAL EXTRAVAGANZA
Arley Hall, December 3 to 8, 11am to 5pm
See the stately home decorated with hundreds of fresh flowers and festive foliage
CHRISTMAS FAIR
Victoria House Care Home, Victoria Road, Grappenhall, December 3, 2pm to 4pm.
Mulled wine, mince pies and gift stalls.

FATHER CHRISTMAS'S GROTTO

Organised by Gorse Covert pre-school, Father Christmas will be in his grotto and there will also be refreshments and stalls.

CHRISTMAS TREE EXTRAVAGANZA

A Christmas concert by the Warrington Musical Society will kick off the event on Tuesday at 7pm, with £6 entry.
The free tree extravaganza will open from 9am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 4.30pm on weekdays and from 10am to 2pm on Saturday.
WINTER WONDERLAND
