PETER Andre fans went Insania as the Australian star visited Warrington on Monday.

Adoring fans turned out in their hundreds as the Mysterious Girl singer popped in to Tesco Extra on Winwick Road to sign copies of his new book Between Us.

First in line were 17-year-olds Carla Hodnett and Leah Spann, who had travelled from Runcorn and queued for four hours to meet Andre.

Leah was seeing Peter for the third time, while it was Carla's first meeting with him.

She said: "This is my first time meeting him but I've been a fan for a while.

"It was a bit of a blur and I think I blacked out a bit but it was great.

"He smelled great as well - he smelled of mint.

"He's just an amazing person and he's so genuine as well - I don't know anybody who doesn't like him.

"I'll be buzzing for the rest of my life."

Superfan Jacqueline Wilkinson, who previously had Peter Andre sign her arm before getting it tattooed, travelled from Wigan to see the pop star.

She said: "I've been a fan since he first came out - he's gorgeous and I love him to bits.

"I've been to all his concerts in the past but this is the first time I've been to a signing so I'm looking forward to it."
