GOLDEN Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) has confirmed the sale of Peninsula House is set for completion early next year – after an original deal 'fell through'.
A sale was due to be finalised one year ago following lengthy commercial negotiations with potential owners and the trust but it failed to materialise.
However, a new buyer has now been found for the site.
A GGHT spokesman said: "The original sale of Peninsula House fell through but we have been quickly able to find a new buyer, a Liverpool-based property developer.
"The sale is due to complete early in 2017. GGHT will provide an update to affected customers once the timeline has been confirmed and further details about refurbishment are available."
The block is being sold with a small number of leaseholders in occupation – GGHT has confirmed they will transfer over to the new landlord.
All GGHT-owned units are being sold with 'vacant possession'.
