Emergency services are at the scene
MOTORISTS heading through Lower Stretton have been hit by delays after a two-vehicle crash in Higher Whitley.
Northwich Road has been closed in both directions following the accident and police are at the scene diverting traffic.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is also assisting and said the collision on Bentleys Farm Lane involved a 4x4 car and a heavy goods vehicle.
A man was trapped inside the car and firefighters worked to free him from the vehicle before handing him over to the care of paramedics.
