TEMPORARY road closures will come into force on the morning of Sunday October 2 as the LiveWire Mile makes its way through the town.
The race is part of Warrington Festival and is set to start and finish at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, home of Warrington Wolves, for the first time.
Roads will be closed between 10am and 12pm as runners complete the course.
The following roads will be affected:
- Winwick Street
- Tanners Lane
- Central Way
- Crown Street
- Scotland Road
- Horsemarket Street
This year participants will be fundraising for Warrington Disability Partnership and every runner will receive a t-shirt and a medal for taking part.
The race starts at 11am with a fun warm up session and registration costs £6 per person.
