A CHARITY has issued an urgent appeal for donations of tombola prizes in order to help them break a world record.
Warrington Disability Partnership will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the world's biggest tombola at Golden Square Shopping Centre on Saturday October 1.
But the charity, which is attempting to break the world record as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations, is still a few hundred prizes short of the target of more than 6,000.
Individual donations can be taken while up to 25 of the same item can be made for bulk donations.
Prizes can be dropped off at the charity's base on Beaufort Street in Sankey Bridges or their stores in Golden Square Shopping Centre and Warrington Market.
