NEW business owners and hopeful entrepreneurs are invited to take part in workshops with experts at Warrington Collegiate.

The Winwick Road campus is working in partnership with the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership to help small businesses and new companies grow.

The scheme will offer residents access to bespoke advice and modern facilities at colleges, universities and business parks.

Courses at the college include a guide to social media, market research and health and safety as well as basic accounting.

Olwen Dolan, project manager at Warrington Collegiate, said: “We will support small and medium enterprises to develop growth strategies.  We will do this via face-to-face interactions and cohort-based programmes, developing a bespoke growth plan for each company.”

The Cheshire and Warrington Growth Programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, which is allocated by the European Union.

To apply for support from the growth programme and find out how you can receive free guidance email businesssupport@warrington.ac.uk or call 494273.

A networking breakfast meeting will take place on October 6 between 7.30am and 9am. To register your place visit eventbrite.co.uk/e/breakfast-launch-event-cheshire-warrington-business-growth-programme-tickets-27806053655.
