A 13-YEAR-OLD boy was rushed to hospital after falling off the roof of the Cabinet Works building on Saturday.
At around 2pm police officers, firefighters and paramedics were called to the derelict town centre site, off Cairo Street, and soon after they discovered that the youngster, from Warrington, had fallen while on the building.
An air ambulance also made its way to the area.
However, the boy was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital via the road by North West Ambulance Service and his injuries have been described as 'serious'.
