BAILIFFS made their way to Gemini Retail Park today, Tuesday, to speak to unlawful travellers shortly before the group vacated the land.
On Friday the authority was notified of an encampment made up of three caravans and associated vehicles at Birchwood Shopping Centre.
It led a large number of motorists to avoid parking at the site.
The council was providing the landowner with advice throughout the day.
After leaving the shopping centre on Sunday it is understood the group moved onto land at Birchwood Community High School.
But the council today confirmed the travellers have since left the school grounds.
However, the authority was made aware of another encampment at Gemini Retail Park, off Europa Boulevard, on Saturday.
It was made up of five caravans and associated vehicles.
The council said bailiffs attended the site today shortly before the travellers vacated the land.
