ADULTS and young people with learning disabilities received a thank you letter from the Queen after they created a birthday card for her 90th.
Queen Elizabeth II has thanked the Long Lane Garden Centre workers after they created a handmade card to mark her 90th birthday and sent it to Buckingham Palace.
Asda Cockhedge and Asda Westbrook community champions Liz Cotterill and Cathy Robinson worked with them to create the card.
Liz said: “Everyone was so excited and pleased to have received a reply on behalf of the Queen.
“I hadn’t quite realised just how proud I was about this until I presented the framed letter to everyone at Long Lane – it was really something I’ll never forget.”
