AN APPLICATION has been submitted to build 21 rental houses in Dallam.
St Helens-based Helena Partnerships has submitted an application to Warrington Borough Council’s planning department to build 21 two-bed homes on the site of the Harrison Centre on Boulting Avenue.
The dwellings are anticipated to be marketed as affordable rent properties.
A prior application to bulldoze the Harrison Centre, which was built in the 1960s, has been approved with the demolition expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Further housing is set to be built on the site of Harrison Square and Dallam Community Primary School playing fields as part of an ongoing regeneration of the area.
A consultation on these latest plans runs until Friday September 16.
