A GROUP of Good Samaritans who helped to save the life of a man who had collapsed on the pavement in Orford are desperate for answers about his current condition.

Ashley Dyson along with her partner Jordan Morris and parents Janet and John McBride were driving along Orford Road at 10.35pm on Saturday when they noticed a man unconscious on the floor.

The group quickly pulled over and rushed to his aid.

Ashley from Orford said: "I just remember my dad saying 'Oh my God there's a body over there'.

"At first we thought he was dead because we could not find a pulse.

"We called 999 as he was in a bad state."

The family waited with the man until an ambulance arrived around 10 minutes later.

He was around the age of 50 with dark hair.

He wore glasses and was wearing a white shirt, jeans and a belt.

He had a Marvel Comics wallet.

"We managed to get him mumbling after around four minutes but then he lost consciousness again," added Ashley who works for a car dealership.

"This gentlemen didn't smell of alcohol.

"We are trying to get hold of anybody who knows him or his family to make sure he is okay.

"He was alone and we don't know how long he'd been there."
