ORFORD residents have pitched in to bring life to a formerly neglected community garden.
Residents on Forshaw Street have spent hours cheering up their communal garden by mowing, weeding and replanting.
Laura Rostron, who lives on Forshaw Street, said: “The garden used to be a right mess – it was neglected and people used to dump things there.
“Our neighbours and I got together and spent hours doing it up and put lots of plants in.
“They all work so hard in the garden – they are out there all the time mowing, weeding and replanting.”
